If Tastunoko VS Capcom were available to buy whilst I was Japan, I would've bought it without question or hesitation. My Wii is not modded and I have no Freeloader disc. But f**k it. That's stuff I can always sort here. Buying this game is a 'Only in Japan' affair. Unfortunately for me, the game wasn't due for release until 2 weeks after I left Japan.Tatsunoko VS Capcom has me sprung...really badly. More than Street Fighter IV. So when I strutted into a video games store and saw the Tasunoko VS Capcom unit I froze and stood in front of it zombified. The game wasn't playable, but that didn't stop me standing zombified in front of the screen and looking around for a controller in the hopes I could have a quick go.
I stood there the whole time wishing I could hold Tatsunoko VS Capcom in my hands, along with a reason to buy a classic controller. But I was denied such joy due to the game not being out, a situation which caused me to shed a tear that day.
No doubt this game will sell a fair amount of copies in Japan. Not only because the game features popular characters in Japanese entertainment, but due to the game actually being well promoted in video game retail stores.
Bloody hell, I wish I was still in Japan. Excuse me whilst I go watch raid my bookmarks of Tastunoko VS Capcom videos and sigh.
