You don't know the power and the wonders of Family Mart until you expreience it for yourself. Family Mart stole my heart and I don't even want it back. Just as long as it doesn't sell it.
An interesting tid bit about the picture: the night we walked past it for the first time, the inside of the shop was a mess. Fixtures and what-not were still being built and fixed inside. We walked past it again on our way home and the inside was semi complete: fixtures were up and stock was present. The next day, the shop was open. Japan does not mess around when it comes to construction. Buildings dissapear and appear open for business incredibly quickly.
