Something so seemingly insignificant, yet impactful happened to me today. A young kid opened a door for me! He saw me coming, pulled open the door and gave a nod that I should go first. The kid looked no older than 10 and he pulled a door wide open for me! I chuckled to myself and then gave a very large and appreciative "Thank you!!" to which he replied "You're welcome!"
It's the little things like this that make you realize, that this shitty world we live in...isn't so bad after all, and that there are good hearted people in it. I just hope this kid doesn't grow up to be a right little shit.
