I bought Deus ex: Human revolution on Friday. I had read pretty much nothing on the game, which means I went and did that blind buying shit I did with L.A Noire. Hopefully this will be where the similarities end. Because as some of you know, I hated L.A Noire and couldn't even give enough of a fuck to finish it. L.A Noire got traded in, which scored me £20. £20 which I then decided to put towards Deus ex. My basis for buying the game was pretty much that my Twitter timeline was paraded with tweets on everybody playing it and enjoying it...and that's about it.
I started playing it today. And so far my initial impressions are that the very beginning of the game reminds me a shit load of Mass effect 2.
Oh. And I was totally surprised to find that the game is played in first person. Because I was always under the impression it was a third person action game. And here-in reveals just how little about this game I knew before I bought it.
